सिक्किम। मंगलवार देर रात सिक्किम में ल्होनक झील के ऊपर बादल फट गया. जिसके कारण तीस्ता नदी में पानी का स्तर बढ़ गया. इस कारण लाचेन घाटी में अचानक बाढ़ आ गई. इस बाढ़ की चपेट में आने से तीस्ता नदी से सटा हुआ सेना का कैंप बह गया. गुवाहाटी के डिफेंस PRO से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार अचानक पानी बढ़ने के कारण चुंगथांग बांध से पानी छोड़ना पड़ा। इसके बाद निचले इलाके भी डूबने लगे हैं. सिंगताम के पास बारदांग में सेना के करीब 41 वाहन डूब गए.

15 से 20 फीट तक बढ़ गया नदी का जलस्तर
एक जानकारी के अनुसार बादल फटने की घटना से तीस्ता नदी का जलस्तर अचानक 15 से 20 फीट तक बढ़ गया. अचानक आई बाढ़ से आसपास के इलाकों में पानी भर गया इसके अलावा कई घरों में नदी का पानी घुस गया.लोग बाढ़ग्रस्त इलाकों को छोड़कर सुरक्षित इलाकों में चले गए.अचानक बादल फटने के कारण नदी पर बने पुल व सड़कों को भी काफी नुकसान हुआ है.

लापता हुए जवानों की तलाश जारी
गुवाहाटी के डिफेंस PRO ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि हादसे के बाद सेना के लापता जवानों की तलाशी के लिए रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन जारी है.स्थानीय प्रशासन द्वारा भी अपने स्तर पर रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया जा रहा है. हादसे में अभी तक कोई जानमाल के नुकसान की खबर नहीं आई है. नदी से लगे इलाकों में पानी भर गया है. पुलिस-प्रशासन द्वारा रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन चलाया जा रहा है.
